About US

Santa’sLand Fun Park & Zoo is the family oriented, Christmas themed Fun spot to visit while in Cherokee, N.C. Located near the southern entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, just east of Cherokee, North Carolina.

A seasonal park open 5 days a week from mid-May to the end of October.

A family oriented, quaint, charming, smaller magical park with more of a personal touch. Guests appreciate the lower ticket prices, shorter lines, and the laid-back pace of a smaller park.

Opening June 1, 1966, SantasLand has been delighting and entertaining children and parents of all ages through the decades. We have antique amusement rides, including the "World Famous Rudicoaster", a train that circles the park for a relaxing ride while taking in the sights and sounds of the Park. The children love our animals, many you can hand feed! The Zoo has over 20 varieties of animals, many of them exotic, from different parts of the world.

Santa'sLand has become a Cherokee icon for generations of families that bring their children to have fun and enjoy this magical Park, that celebrates the spirit of Christmas during the summertime.

Affordable Admission Price

At Santas Land Fun Park & Zoo, you will pay one low admission price to enjoy the entire park. We have entertainment in store for all ages, kids, parents, and grandparents. You can enjoy zoos, rides, shows, and much more. So come and stay as long as you like and celebrate over 50 years of family fun with us.

Our History

Come join us first for our 60th anniversary, below are pictures from back in the day.

We’re located in the Smoky Mountains on U.S. Highway 19, just 3 miles east of Cherokee, and the southern entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We are seasonal and open every day from mid-May until the beginning of November.
